Our Mission
The Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology (S.R.O.H.P) is an organization established with the aim of contributing to the improvement of services in pediatric oncology, guided by the vision of increasing the chances of survival and the quality of life for children with cancer or cancer survivors in Romania.
The National Registry of Pediatric Onco-Hematology (R.N.O.H.P.)
The National Registry of Pediatric Onco-Hematology (R.N.O.H.P.) is a database that encompasses all new cases of cancer in children and young people (0-19 years old) registered by participating pediatric oncology centers across Romania. Currently, R.N.O.H.P. is financially and logistically supported by the “Dăruiește Aripi” Association (since 2018), as part of a project to relaunch and optimize the Registry, which has allowed the retrospective completion of case reports at the national level. This project aims to improve the content and quality of data as well as their use within the legal framework in research and in the development of public policies.
