- Promoting scientific research in the field of cancer and hematologic diseases in children and adolescents
- Initiating, developing, and coordinating the National Registry of Pediatric Onco-Hematology in Romania
- Collaborating with higher medical education institutions and related fields to train and further educate specialists with high professional qualifications
- Participating in the improvement, modernization, and reform of oncological and hematological care in general, and specifically in pediatric hematology-oncology
- Collaborating with other professional-scientific institutions, research institutes from Romania and abroad, to ensure high-quality care for hematologic and oncologic diseases in children and adults
- Respecting the rights of the child, as well as the rights of patients – collaborating with parent and patient organizations, as well as with all entities interested in contributing to the improvement of medical care and the quality of life for children diagnosed with serious illnesses
- Participating in the development of specific strategies for the care of children with cancer and in the public policy implementation through advocacy activities.
