We are firmly committed to protecting your personal data. Please read this privacy policy carefully, which contains important information about the protection of personal data, why and how we collect and use your personal data, and provides you with information about your rights.
We are committed to protecting data subjects’ personal data as soon as it is in our possession. We implement organizational and technical security measures. Despite our best efforts, if we identify a security breach that affects you, we will inform you and initiate appropriate protective measures.
The use of the personal data that you have transmitted to us is done according to this privacy policy or according to the information you had at your disposal at the time of its collection.
The security of all data is a very important aspect. Therefore, the WWW.SROHP.RO server is located in the European Union, and our proxies for technical support, hardware and software, are located in the European Union.
Our procedures regarding the protection of personal data, organizational and technical measures, are structured in order to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data and all information under our care. We periodically check the adequacy of the implemented measures.
2. Categories of personal data about you processed:
2.1. Information provided by you
Account creation. For the purpose mentioned above, you are asked to fill in the fields provided in this application with the following data: name and surname, address, CNP, e-mail, mobile phone, profession, workplace and his address including telephone, specialty, professional degree, initial code, Unique Medical Identification Code.
User Provided Content. The functionalities of the Platform could allow, in some sections and in certain situations, the publication of comments by users. If you choose to publish your comments on the Platform you are subject to the following rules of use:
- Comments and questions will be made visible to other users of the platform, after their moderation by site administrators
- At the time of publication, the comment/question will be visibly marked with your name (which you filled in when submitting the comment form);
- After the comments/questions are published by the moderator, they can be modified/deleted only under certain conditions, and in this sense it is necessary to contact the SROHP team using the contact form available on the website.
- Comments are moderated within a period of up to 72 working hours after they are sent;
- Your comment and any other personal data provided in this context may be reported as pharmacovigilance incidents;
- If the answer to a comment/question is provided by a doctor, this will be indicated;
- Unless expressly stated otherwise, all authors of comments/questions are deemed to be medical practitioners;
- The publication of messages or pictures with harmful, threatening, misleading, defamatory, hateful, aggressive, racist, vulgar, derogatory, indecent, insulting, violent, obscene or pornographic content is strictly prohibited.
- Violation of the policy regarding the posting of comments/questions on the site entails the definitive blocking of that user from using comments, from the first offense;
- If through the comments you decide to post information that is not from your own experiences, the source of the information must be clearly indicated;
- Any communications from users (other than personal information) that are covered by confidentiality are treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. Thus, if those who access the documents from this site intervene with questions, comments, etc. in connection with the content of a material, this information will be considered as non-confidential and the owner of this site will not have any obligation related to this information, having the freedom to reproduce / use it publicly and distribute it.
Content provided by users for the registration of papers at the Conferences and Congresses of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology
The functionalities of the Platform allow the registration of works within the events of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology. If you choose to record pinsWhen you work on the Platform, you are subject to the following rules of use:
Communication direct: If you register one or more works with us by electronic means, including the website, the ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC ONCO-HEMATOLOGY will acquire additional information such as name, address email, phone, communication content, attachments or other information you choose to provide to us.
Data regarding registered works. All the data you register regarding the papers will become the property of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology. THE ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC ONCO-HEMATOLOGY will recognize the copyright of all persons specified as authors, co-authors. The collection of this data is done for the evaluation of the works. If you provide other people’s personal data when registering your work, you are responsible for obtaining their permission for this registration. For the registration of works, the following data are collected: name, surname, professional degree, email, telephone, university title, the quality of the person registering, other authors (for whom the same data is collected), the summary in Romanian, the summary in English of the work.
Email addresses. In various places in the platform there are contact forms that require the entry of an email address. The collection of this email address for unregistered users is used for subsequent contact on the issues for which we were requested or for other purposes permitted by law and explicitly mentioned in this section of the Terms and Conditions.
2.2. Information collected about You as a result of using the Platform
Logs, Cookies, traceability technologies. The Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology keeps log information to diagnose possible hardware or software problems of the servers on which the application runs, to be able to make comparisons with the summary reports. Also, cookies are used to deliver specific content to users or for other purposes.

Use of IP addresses: An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a set of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer when you log in to your Internet provider or through your organization’s local area network network – LAN) or wide area network (WAN). The Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology or other third parties acting on its behalf may collect IP addresses for the purpose of system administration and to audit the use of its website. We will use IP addresses to identify users of our site when we deem it necessary to enforce compliance with the site’s terms of use or to protect our service, site or users.
Cookies. The Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology can place a “cookie” in your computer’s browser. Information that cannot lead to the identification of a person
The Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology also collects non-personally identifiable information in a cumulative format to record data such as the total number of visitors to each page of our website and the domain name of providers internet of our website visitors. We use this information, which remains in aggregate form, to understand how visitors use our sites in order to improve them. We may disclose this information to other third parties. - To confirm and verify your status as a Health Professional
- To report pharmacovigilance incidents
- To realize and maintain the services offered
- To improve, customize and expand the Services
- To understand and analyze how you use the services
- To develop new products and services
- To communicate with you about news, about services or for marketing and promotion purposes
- Sending messages and push notifications
- Evaluation of works within the events of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology
- Identifying fraud attempts, especially online exam fraud
- To ensure compliance with the terms and conditions or other legal rights or in accordance with the laws or at the request of government agencies or judges
In addition to the above, we process personal data for the development of our services, for providing contact persons with information about us and our range of services and facilities. Naturally, we also use them to provide personal data to members of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology team and WWW.SROHP.RO for the purpose of providing contracted services and offering new services and facilities, as well as for the purpose of honoring promises made and (non-contractual) commitments assumed.
We process personal data also to send invitations to scientific events addressed to professionals.
Like anyone, we are subject to legal obligations and fair practices, so we must keep some records, which are not personal data, but may contain personal data, so they are subject to the same protections.

The information provided by you may be transferred to:
- Members of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology
- The organizer / Operator of the training or conference, by the entities authorized to administer the diplomas. The information may be transmitted to the organizers of the Conferences or courses and to the College of Doctors.
- Pharmaceutical companies operating in Romania.
- Service Providers. We may transfer your information to service providers who perform these services on our behalf such as (Intercom, Campaign Monitor, Monitive, Mailchimp, Mailpoet, Google Analytics, Facebook, Hotjar etc)
- Advertising. We work with third party marketing partners to display advertisements that we think may be of interest to you. These partners may set and access their own cookies, pixel tags, and other similar technologies on our services and may collect over time or have access to information about you through various online services
- Partnerships. We also transfer user information to partners to receive additional publicly available information about you.
- Analytics. We use analytics services such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information that cannot lead to the identification of a person. Google offers additional options regarding data collection and cookies here http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ .
- Business transfers. The information could be disclosed or transferred to any potential buyer/buyers of the assets of Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology or other similar transactions.

In this sense, the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology undertakes to constantly ensure an appropriate level of protection of personal datasonal, respecting the legal provisions as well as the applicable security measures.
How we use personal data
Personal data relating to contacts can be consulted by members of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Onco-Hematology team only to the extent that it is strictly necessary to initiate and maintain the connection with the contact persons in question, for the execution of contracts, for hosting or facilitating hosting events, as well as for other purposes arising from obligations arising from laws, contracts or honest customs.
We take into account the context in which the personal data was collected, in particular with regard to the relationship between the data subjects and us, as well as the possible consequences for the data subjects.
We publish personal data of people who openly make it public.
We send invitations to the scientific events organized by the ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC ONCO-HEMATOLOGY and the societies affiliated with them or with which they traditionally collaborate.
We transmit to the bodies of the medical profession information regarding the participation of doctors in the events organized by the ROMANIAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC ONCO-HEMATOLOGY and its partners, access to documentation resources, use of personal data without which the granting of professional training points for doctors would be impossible.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data
We process the personal data of the contact persons on the basis of consent, the contract concluded with us or fair usage, as well as for the execution of our legal obligations.
Retention of data
Personal data will be kept by us only as long as necessary for the purposes of the processing, as well as, of course, according to legal or contractual requirements. In the absence of such requirements, the retention period of records and supporting documents for services should not exceed 10 years.
Security of personal data processing
Our security measures, both technical and organizational, protect our information as well as contact information, personal data and other important data. Concern for detecting, investigating and resolving security threats is ongoing. We allocate significant logistical and financial resources to this end.
The rights of data subjects
In the absence of legal provisions that circumscribe them, you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:
- the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- the right to rectify any incorrect or incomplete personal data;
- the right to object or to restrict our use of your personal data;
- the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of data processed on the basis of consent;
- the right to delete your personal data, in situations where you have withdrawn your consent, the processing is no longer necessary or the respective processing is contrary to the law;
- the right to data portability which allows you to receive a copy of the processed data that we have received from you or to transmit it to another entity indicated by you;
- the right to withdraw your consent for the processing carried out on the basis of consent.
In order to exercise the rights, we need to make sure that the requests come from the concerned persons. Special situations
Registered Users
Registered users are people who have access credentials (logins) on WWW.SROHP.RO and/or subdomains WWW.SROHP.RO. Registered users are persons with whom we have contractual relations, persons who act on behalf of persons with whom we have contractual relations or persons who have access permissions acquired over time. After the termination of relations from we delete the accounts and at the same time the personal information contained in them.
Photo-video
The images of professionals we display come from them or illustrate public events they have attended.
Facebook Pages
Considering that the administrator of a fan page on Facebook has, together with Facebook, the capacity of operator that processes the data of visitors to his page, the privacy policy WWW.SROHP. RO is also applicable to the Facebook pages managed by us, although we do not have access to the cookie files used by Facebook, nor do we know the identity of the people who access the Facebook pages managed by us without being logged in to Facebook. For this reason, we inform you of the rights you have as data subjects not logged in on Facebook and ask that, if you do not want Facebook to install cookies on your computers, disable these technical elements in your browser. Contact method regarding personal data
Given that we neither widely nor systematically monitor your personal data, and that personal data processing operations are nowhere near our core business, the appointment of a DPO is not necessary.
